A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Scottish Sales Team for a Sales Executive to grow and develop the Walkers Brand in four key areas ; Sales, Distribution, Display and New Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a strong level of competitor and industry sector awareness and share this knowledge with management and internal teams.
Drive Walkers Brand performance to achieve annual sales, distribution and display targets whilst representing the Brand positively to the customer.
Identify new business opportunities within new channels to drive new consumers to Walkers Brand.
Responsible for distribution and display of Walkers Brand products within Key Tourist, Food Service, Convenience and Travel Sector customers.
Tactical focus on various products \ categories throughout the year (NPD, Seasonal Lines etc).
Manage territory effectively to ensure customers receive appropriate level of coverage and contact.
Working with 3rd party partners to ensure best distribution and display of Walker's products in appropriate channels.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Familiarity with sales, reporting and process management
Record of success in negotiating and influencing deals in an FMCG environment whilst meeting customer requirements
Excellent relationship building internally and externally
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication and organisational skills
IT literate
Enthusiasm for teamwork and to share learnings
Drive to succeed, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving
The ideal candidate will be covering largely Northern and Eastern parts of Scotland and ideally be based in Perth or surrounding areas.
