A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Production team as a Production Apprentice.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who has completed school and is looking for a new challenge or for a candidate, with previous relevant experience, or looking at taking their first steps into a Production role.
The position will be fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship, up to a maximum of 2 years, with the opportunity for this to be made permanent.
Working hours will be 12.30pm - 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am - 6pm Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will be required to work within a small team to conduct product checks throughout the shift
- Prepare and weigh ingredients required for mixing
- Follow recipes to produce a finished dough to the desired consistency
- Evaluate product quality ensuring they meet appropriate quality specifications
- Follow a "clean as you go" system to maintain the work area, being flexible to clean after recipe changes and deep cleans at the end of shift
Experience
- Good physical strength and eye hand coordination
- Strong written, numerical and communication skills
- Good team player
- Take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety
