We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team player to join our Procurement function in a permanent, full-time, on-site role (Aberlour, Moray / 38 hours per week). Whether you're starting your career or looking to transition into the world of buying and supply coordination, this developmental role offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and real opportunities for growth.
As part of our Procurement team, you'll support both the Packaging and Ingredient Buyers with day-to-day purchasing tasks and act as a key link between suppliers and internal teams. You’ll help ensure we always have the right materials, at the right time, to meet customer needs – and when things don’t go to plan, you'll be the first point of contact to help find a solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Buying Support
- Support the Packaging and Ingredients Buyers with day to day activities, including raising and amending purchase orders as needed
- Maintain accurate supplier data and pricing in our systems
- Assist with market research and fundamental supplier analysis
- Prepare materials for supplier meetings and contract reviews
- Track supplier documentation including quotes and order confirmations
- Assist to ensure the timely availability of goods and services
- Support reporting, analysis, and improvement projects
Supplier Coordination
- Monitor and report supplier performance - On Time in Full (OTIF)
- Be the first line of contact for delivery concerns and resolution
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders about supply challenges
- Coordinate logistics for raw material and packaging deliveries
- Track and expedite orders as needed
- Compile regular supplier performance reports
- Assist with supplier review meetings

- Eagerness to learn systems and procurement processes
Desirable Skills
- A qualification in business, supply chain, or similar
- Previous experience in admin, customer service or entry-level business roles
- Interest in a long-term procurement career
- Understanding of fundamental procurement principles
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data entry
