The International Sales Executive is a pivotal member of the International Sales team, providing support to the International Sales Managers alongside our Sales Support and Shipping teams.
This is a customer-focused role within a fast-paced International department where tasks will vary from day to day.
The successful candidate will require excellent numeric, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritise their workload. They will demonstrate flexibility, an aptitude for problem-solving and a desire to contribute meaningfully to our team objectives of revenue growth and brand innovation.
Experience of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Sharepoint, is essential.
Experience of working within a sales, customer service and/or commercial environment, particularly within FMCG, will be an advantage.
Some international travel will be required.
The role will be primarily based in our busy Aberlour Head Office, located in stunning Speyside, in the Highlands of Scotland.
Main Duties
To provide assistance to the International Sales Managers, including but not limited to:
- Communication with our customer base of international distributors and retailers, including participation in online meetings, customer visits to our Aberlour Head Office and trade shows.
- Working with our Sales Support and Customer Service teams to ensure customer data integrity is maintained.
- Assist Sales Support with customer queries for International Sales Managers who are travelling and/or out of office.
- Liaising with various internal departments to gather specific financial, technical and production information for strategic projects.
- Manage Trade Exhibition preparation.
- Sales Forecasting and P&L monitoring.
- Assist with developing international market- specific distribution and pricing strategies when required.
- Assist with international market-specific Marketing projects when required.
- Assist with other specific International projects as required.
- Work towards management of an allocated customer portfolio.
