Goods In Warehouse Operative

• About The Role

• We have an exciting opportunity for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join our Elgin Team on a full time basis.

  
  

  Your main focus will be receiving and storing all of our raw materials in line with our Company guidelines.

  This is a permanent role, working 38 hours a week. There hours are:

  8am - 4.30pm(Mon-Thurs) / 8am - 2.30pm(Fri) 

  Responsibilities include;

  - Driving forklifts (following training), including carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting defects when needed

  - Handling pallets and individual cases of products with care

  - Racking and de-racking pallets of products using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  - Preparing customer orders accurately, taking time and care to build products in a safe and stable manner and ensuring any special customer requirements are met

  - Ensuring stock is correctly rotated

  - Loading and unloading trailers and containers

  - Carrying out stock checks

  - Completing paperwork accurately and efficiently

  - Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety at all times, maintaining safe working practises and carrying out cleaning tasks when needed

  - Carrying out any other tasks as required

   

  The type of person we are looking for:

  - Is a team player, able to work well individually and with colleagues to reach a shared goal

  - Has high levels of attention to detail

  - Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  - Is highly numerate

  - Shows a positive work ethic

   

  You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
