The Role
This role will oversee the Ecommerce and Mailroom operations team for the business including the preparation, packing and posting of website orders and samples to potential and existing customers. In addition, the role includes dealing with all parcel posting and mail requirements across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Ecommerce Operations team on a daily basis and carry out annual appraisals.
- Ensure all website orders are processed efficiently throughout the year.
- Minimise picking errors and product damages in transit through effective packing of orders.
- Work closely with customer care to ensure that any customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage day-to-day relationship with couriers to ensure acceptable service levels and all credits are processed throughout the year.
- Work with Ecommerce Commercial Manager to identify improvements to processes with the aim of enhancing the customer experience when ordering online.
- Liaise with Ecommerce Commercial Manager to pro-actively maintain stock levels with the aim of keeping all products available online throughout the year.
- Effectively manage packaging and consumables across the year.
- Process Amazon orders, as and when required.
- Process sending of parcels for other parts of the business, as and when required.
About You
- Proven experience in managing a team in an ecommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of order processing, inventory management, and courier logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on minimising errors and improving efficiency.
